Sorry for the radio silence for a few weeks… before the summer doldrums (I get so cranky and unmotivated when its hot outside!), a work conference, work itself, and just the day to day “stuff of life”, I’ve gotten a bit behind here, but I’m back! Let’s see what’s making me happy this week!

NEW SEASON OF ALONE! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I can’t believe I haven’t talked about this show here! Wes and I are OBSESSED with this History Channel show, having binged every season we can find, and Netflix just dropped Season 8! It’s sooooooo good. Fascinating, thought-provoking, ingenious, and did I mention fascinating?! I don’t camp, I don’t hunt, I’m not rugged at all, but I can’t get enough of this! Highly recommend starting with Season 1, and then binging them all. Various seasons are all over the place, like Netflix, Hulu, Kanopy, everywhere!
This article gave me all the feels: 10 Ways to Give Your Kids an Honest-to-Goodness 1970s Summer. True, I don’t have kids, but if you substitute in the 1980s for the 1970s, this was my childhood with my bestie Megan in our neighborhood. I wouldn’t have wanted any other kind of childhood.

Wes and I met up with my sister and bro-in-law in French Lick a couple of weekends ago. So fun to catch up in such a pretty “midway” point for both of us!
