A few weeks ago, Wes and I went on an unconventional date night – we went to a pottery studio right here in our small town!
We got to spend a couple of hours working the wheel and making bowls (my favorite) and doing handwork to make mugs for the first time ever. It was so satisfying and creative!
(And yes, so many people asked about the scene from Ghost, but the owners were very good-natured about it!).
I was so eager to see our final fired and glazed pieces, and here they are! I’m just tickled! We each made a mug (mine has the leaves), and Wes made a green bowl, and I made a blue bowl and a blue shallow dish. I loved the way the glazes make them look!
We had a great time, and I definitely want to do it again soon!
