The British Cook Book by Ben Mervis is a revelation – I had to buy one for myself too! It’s packed with recipes that remind us our childhood, of Mum cooking, of meals we’d forgotten, and we marveled at how Mum knew so many English recipes when we never found hide or hair of a cookbook in the house after she passed away. This is a great combination of memory road and aspirational cooking for me!
